Broke Ass Game Show was a guerrilla game show that took place on the streets of New York City. My job was to come up with as many silly and irreverent games as I could and then pitch those ideas to the network. Here are a few of my favorites:
JAILLENHAAL
Contestants are locked into a mini-jail and they can't get out until they correctly spell Gyllenhaal. The hosts will be wearing Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal masks. Sequel game: Jailifianakis!
FLIES DOWN
The two hosts have their flies down the whole episode. If anybody they encounter tells them their fly is down the hosts hand them 50 dollars.
CANOE YORK CITY
It's like Cash Cab, but in a canoe. I know it doesn't make sense!

This is the show that got me into the Directors Guild. The great thing about this job was getting to work with so many talented writers and improvisers. I'm proud to say I was the director the crew looked forward to having on set. Apparently the other director yelled a whole bunch. C'mon man, it's Disaster Date!
